Fetish for female body parts

Dear Dhananjay,
I have a strange fetish for some female body parts which is so strong that it pushes me to masturbate. I had this fetish since childhood. I want to ask, is this fetish karmic? If so, how to get rid of it? I have been trying hard but every time I have a big fight with my mind and eventually give in. This is a big hurdle for me to practise incessant celibacy. Please help me.

Q: What is the cause behind and the solution to overcome strong sexual longings in a person that exist from childhood?
A: All the past karma accumulated from the innumerable births manifested by the soul is stored in the 'Kaarana sharira' or the causal body, the depository of past actions. Based on the 'samskaaras' present and the tendencies generated thereby, tendencies towards or against a particular object manifest in a person. A strong tendency for female body parts is hence nothing but a continuation of such tendencies from previous births accrued due to repeated indulgence in recreational sexuality. To start the dissolution of such tendencies, the same principles and tenets that govern true Brahmacharya hold good. Effort required to overcome these tendencies will depend on the strength and grip of past karma. The best method of progress is to focus on a life of Brahmacharya in thought, word and deed with adequate physical, mental and spiritual activity to help achieve the ideal.
As stated earlier, all forms of interaction visual, verbal and physical with the opposite sex that lead to any of the eight breaks in Brahmacharya are to be strictly refrained from. With sincere and committed practice, success will slowly start to trickle.
