Concentration and Brahmacharya
Question
I must say thank you for all the answer and God bless you.
Now today, after my break in celibacy 3 days ago i started doing pranayama again. ( last time i experienced dizziness because i did it wrong and irresponsabily)
Pranayama combined with fruits and carbs diet greatly diminish sexual urge.
Well i have a question about concentration (if it's still in your line of knowledge)
I concentrate on the heart (the feeling of my shirt sticking on my chest), now i do it gently, sometime i see that i am slowly slipping into dhyana(meditation).
How will i know if i am falling into dhyana or sleeping. It's good like a feeling of being in the NOW.
Any advice for a Deeper concentration?
Also i realised that the more i concentrated on being a celibate, the more i focus on women, at first i was like ooo i am a bramachari a vegan and i ended up suffering, depressed and not staying celibate more than one week.
Isn t it better to set rules and forget all about it? It become like brushing your teeth.
Because now it make me feel like brahmacharya is the goal instead of being the mean to reach the goal.
Answer
The 'heart' referred to in meditation is not the physical one but infinite consciousnesses. One must focus on the infinite expanse upon closing his eyes and merge into it, with the belief of being no different. When this is done for a long time of many years on a regular basis, the sense of I-ness gradually diminishes and is eventually lost there. That leads to 'Samadhi'
Think less and meditate more.
