Living with non Seekers

Dhananjay • 3/11/2017
Question

Thank you for listening.
PROBLEM:
I ve been living with family since starting my sadhana.
i have to say that living with people that do not follow the path is hard.
Especially when it come to food. now as much as i respect them we have been eating meat since i can remember, but now i do not eat it, and i know that i can not force others to live like i live, this is why i plan to move out  this summer.
My mother and stepfather cultural conditioning is very strong, so it's almost like a sacrilege to go my own way. But the call is too strong.
Sometime i eat meat to make her happy, and if i don't eat her food she get frustrated, she think meditation is something i do for fun, in my sparetime. It's becoming hard for me to meditate. And family is coming to visit this summer and i don't even think i'll be able to sit for 10 min.

SADHANA:
My meditation is going fine, at first some evil spirit use to come and prevent me to meditate but i noticed that if i ground myself by working and praying everything become fine.
Also i was able to get in a very deep state of meditation.

Question:
Please i want your opînion on this.
i know that what i am doing is egoististic but how can i progress in my sadhana without going away from them? The benefit of Sadhana is immense but i do not care about those benefits because even them do not meke me happy, i seek God alone.
my room is always full of the smell of meat and passionate music that my sister is listening to.
i don't hate them

Answer

If one's efforts to merge into the self are honest, the way becomes clear in the course of time. Do your Sadhana and accept that which comes as the will of the Almighty. All comes out good in case of the one who surrenders to HIM.

ॐ तत् सत्
