Lack of morale after breaks

Dhananjay • 7/22/2012
Question

hello sir,
in the last few days (10-12 days) my brahmacharya resolve
got too weak and hence i ended up with 5-6 breaks in a very short time period after having brahmacharya for 22 days.my morale got down and hence the downfalls occurred.i wanted to know how can i keep up my morale for brahmacharya as it gets down after some days.
secondly, after having these breaks my mind has found a new incorrect reason, it says that since you are not the body then why are you bothered about brahmacharya, how does it matter if you loose your vital fluid if it affects the body and so this was the reason for successive downfalls in the last few days.i tried
to reason but cant find a good strong reason.please help me get over this misunderstanding.
due to breaks now i have created more problems for myself.i will ask them in a separate question as they are personal.

Answer

1. Veerya is life and its loss is nothing short of death. Everything is gained by Brahmacharya and the converse by Abrahmacharya. This is the first reason for maintaining continence.

2. Yes, we are not the body or mind but only the Atman. So tell the mind to stop feeding the body with food from today. Let the mind be free from this botheration called the body as we are not the body. Let us see what it says …

ॐ तत् सत्
(That Supreme being is the absolute truth)
