Question

When there is a legend that tells about siddhas in south India or taoists alchemists who had extreme longevity, does it means they can live centuries in a physical body if they choose so? WHat was the main secret?

Answer

Preventing the descent of Bindu (seed of life) into becoming semen is the secret of health and longevity. After the Yogi becomes an Urdhvareta, his seed does not come down from the 'Ajna Chakra' in the region of the brain but remains there as 'Amrita' (nectar). The body then becomes immune to decay and disease, staying fresh and healthy.
