Sex sublimation
Question
i am a 28 year old guy. due to over masturbation i am having osteo arthritis in knees and other joints. my questions are:
1. in tao they say that while doing sex the sex fluid and sperm can be redirected to the channel in spinal cord so that it reaches brain by having control over PC muscle. is this true.
2. how long does it take to recover from weak joints.
3. human life span normally depends on prarabda karma alotted for this life. does loss of semen lead to death even before prarabda karma is completed.
Answer
1. Taoism does not say so. One should not make loose statements of any path, further to childish reading of some fabricated material, written by immature and irresponsible minds, without thorough knowledge, practice & direct experience.
If the vital fluid could have been so easily redirected into the spinal chord, and thereby sublimated through sexual activity, everybody would have attained Enlightenment through frequent sexual relations. There would have been no need for Sadhana, Tapas, Vairagya and Yoga.
Real sublimation occurs only when the past Vasana-s & Samskara-s blocking flight towards the self are annihilated. It is neither possible, nor feasible to fully sublimate & transmute sexual energy by controlling some muscle, for the body is inert and lifeless in truth. Real sublimation occurs further to Gnyana (knowledge of the truth), which is attained by Sadhana and Vairagya.
2. It is not possible to define time frames. Do the Sadhana suggested in past answers sincerely, with devotion to the Lord. It offers the highest chance of recovery, if anything will.
3. The degree of loss of semen is also governed by Prarabdha, which includes all, including life span.
