Sleeping and Meditation positions/directions

Question
Hello Dhananjay,
I have some questions regarding your Q/A regarding Sleeping positions (http://en.allexperts.com/q/Celibacy-Abstinence-3564/2011/3/Sleeping-positions.ht)
1. Should practitioners always use pillow to sleep? Or is it better to learn to sleep on left side without pillow?
2. Which position should the top of the head face while sleeping? (North - South - East - West)?
3. While meditating which position should one face? (North - South - East - West)?
Thanks
Pulong
Answer
1. It is preferable to use a pillow as this maintains the head in the right posture (at right angles to the shoulder)
2. South is the best, followed by West & East. North is to be avoided.
3. North or East are preferred.
