Question

Dear Sir,

Your answers in the previous posts is greatly helpful to me for maintaining absolute brahmacharya . Your words is like a sword to improve 'Vairagya' (Detachment) in mind. I took the printed copies of all the past answers and maintained it like a book. I must read it before to sleep and at morning. Please clear my some of doubts:-

1.  If a person carried out Brahmacharya in word and deed up to 6 years and wants his own child, is it is a break between 12 year practice?

2.  After waking up on 4.o clock when it reach at 6 o clock feeling heavily sleepy mood , How can I get rid off it?

3.  Can I include 'Tratak' between Pranayama and meditation?

4.  Can I become slim only by doing Banda, Pranayama and meditation, Bz of my belly is quit big but after doing yoga practice the tightness of belly is reduced by its heat

I' m very sad that can't see people like you and big masters.
I have an hope that we can meet if have God blessings

Answer

1. The Brahmachari is allowed to the extent of one sexual ejaculation per wanted child with his lawfully wedded wife. Since the purpose of the sexual act itself is procreation, such activity is warranted and does not cause any impediment. If it is so destined (as per the Lord’s wishes) that the Yogi has to beget a child, it happens. It is HE (Lord) who decides these things and not us. Yogi-s who are high on Vairagya however donot have interest in worldly things such as woman and son and hence donot opt for more than one child, thererby limiting the valid expenditure of semen for procreation to one single ejaculate.

2. After a few years of unbroken practice, when Kundalini ascends to Ajna and beyond, the urge for sleep during morning hours (caused by Tamas or inertia) goes away and the Yogi gets submerged in Samadhi during meditation. He will then become unaware of time and gets lost in ‘Paramananda’ (infinite bliss of the absolute). Till then, one has to strive much. Reading spiritual literature or getting busy with constructive activity is a good option to ward away sleep.

3. ‘Trataka’ (gazing at a fixed point with the thought of the Lord) can be incorporated as a preliminary activity for a very short period before meditation if one wishes. However, meditation alone matters.

4. Persist in the unbroken practice of Yoga & Brahmacharya with the complete Yogic lifestyle and ‘Mitahaara’ (moderate diet) as explained. After the Yogi becomes an Urdhvareta, his body slowly starts becoming wiry, tight and fresh (like that of a child). By the time he attains to ‘Divya Sharira’ after ‘Bhuta-Jaya’ (mastery over the elements), it will be full of lithe strength, tough, free from all disease and akin to ‘Vajra’ (diamond) in toughness. He then feels the greatest strength and bliss from within and cries with tears of devotion to the great Lord.
