Sleepiness & Sweets.
Question
hello sir,
i am continuing my attempts to get established in
brahmacharya.i had asked you a question earlier regarding success
and samsara and i m really grateful for your answer.i have started reading bhagwad gita for 25 mins daily before going to sleep. your method of not worrying about the result and keep the efforts going has really helped me and i will keep trying my best.
my questions are:
1)After waking up and doing yoga and meditation there
is no drowsiness at all but in the odd hours of 7 to 8 am and 10 to 11am i get drowsy and feel like sleeping, this lasts for about 10 to 20min.Can you give some advice on how to avoid this drowsiness.
2)i wanted to know whether it is good to eat home made laddo of wheat with less sugar?
3)in swami sivanada's practice of brahmacharya ,in the end a few books on brahmacharya are given,one of which is a book titled 'the creative power of continence' by Swami Jagadishananda .do you know where to find it?
Answer
1. Keeping oneself occupied with constructive activity is the alternative.
2. Home made sweets can occasionally be consumed. However, the same should not become a habit.
3. Sorry, I am not aware of this book.
4. The Bhagavad-Gita & Pathanjali's Yoga Sutra-s (see past answers for the downloadable link) are preferred reads.
