Reincarnation & Self
Question
Hello Dhananjay,
In response to my last question, thank you sir! You give great philosophy. I aspire to become brahmacharyi so badly. It's great, and I love my devotion for The Lord. I wish to know all answers one day, even as many as you. Philosophy intrigues me greatly, and I desire another answer with real or hypothetical examples from you :D. If a soul's flesh-vessel dies, whether in his quest for brahmacharya or not, will he be reborn into another vessel!? Will a man that transpires greatly to be The Lord's vessel be gifted with advantage over others in his quest for liberation, as Scriptures may elude to? If a man is at war with The Lord, will he be given a human-bodily vessel, or perhaps even an animals vessel, with much disadvantage and hardship fated to him or her in his destined quest for liberation?
I don't know if this question is congruent with what you're here to teach, which I perceive to be honest sadhana and action that brings liberation, but again, I'm deeply intrigued and appreciate your answers.
Best regards,
Erik
Answer
Karma accrued by one's Ego in an existence (be it towards or against realization of the self) is carried over to successive existences, where it bears fruit. The results are also corresponding. Therefore, he who works towards realizing the self finds himself in a better overall position in the next existence as compared to one who works against the same.
