Question

QUESTION: Dear Dhananjay,
As it has been said that service of jiva is service of shiva, your highly appreciable effort is indeed a contribution in the grand cosmic plan of shiva. I have gone through your past posts and found them immensely helpful for a sincere practitioner of brahmacharya and you are a true inspiration for such aspirants.please continue your effort and i pray to the almighty to impart you requisite strength and courage in your journey of self realisation. may the grace of god be upon you.
Though i have clarified most of my doubts but i am curious to know that is it safe for an aspirant of bramacharya to practice kapalbhati pranayam as it is supposed to increase the energy in the system which the aspirant might not be able to handle in a constructive way?

ANSWER: Different Pranayama-s benefit different people. One will eventually know what is good for him. There is no harm if done right, after having learned from one who is an adept.

QUESTION: Dhananjaya thanks for your reply. one more question
what is the significance of hard bed for a practitioner of brahmacharya.

Answer

The tendency for lustful stimulation of the genital region is lesser on a harder surface. A hard sleeping surface helps maintain proper spinal posture, thereby helping the body to relax completely. One achieves deeper sleep and is more fresh further to the right spinal posture.

Also, sparse, hard and simple bedding helps remind the Brahmachari of the life of simplicity and frugality he has to follow, relinquishing attachment for the luxury of sense objects, in his quest for the self.

ॐ तत् सत्
(That Supreme being is the absolute truth)
