Question
My Lord Shri Dhananjay,
Is emotion an off-shoot of the Aham? They are subject to change. Maya can make them dance to her tunes under the influence of the entranced ego.
Are they Asat? Should they be renounced, My Lord?
My humble obeisances unto You.
Answer
Emotion is in the realm of the Aham (Ego). It is to be managed by turning it into Bhakti (devotion) for the Supreme. Then, it becomes a tool to reside in the self.
ॐ तत् सत्
(That Supreme being is the absolute truth)
