Answer

• Our scriptures call the universe 'Brahmanda'. It is rightly described as an illusion of 'Maya' (for matter is energy in a state of vibration and not really solid) effected by the cosmic dream of the Almighty ‘Parabrahman’. It does not exist in reality, for Brahman occupying empty space, extending to infinity is the only reality. The manifest Universe consisting of hundreds of billions of stars and their Solar systems stretches to infinity. The whole concept is the effect of the Lord's cosmic dream. Hence it is governed and run by him through his 'Ichaa shakthi' (will).

A verse in the Upanishads confirms the truth that nothing we see or don't see works on its own energy.

"The Sun does not shine there, neither the Moon, nor the stars. There, these lightnings shine not, how then this fire? Because HE shines, all things shine. By HIS light alone do all these shine".
- Chapter VI/14, Shvetâshvatara Upanishad.

Everything runs on the energy of the Brahman, through his will, being a part of his dream imagination, for everything is contained within HIM. The Sun and the planets, the hundreds of billions of stars and other billions of Solar systems, all these derive energy from HIM and not on their own. Like HIM, they stretch to infinity, being within HIM. All is HIS Leela (play).

Hence it is time that man gave up his high and mighty ego, his arrogance of thinking himself to be the Supreme knower of all and realized himself to be a non-entity as regards claiming doership.

| तस्यादेशेन विना त्रुणमपि न चलति ||
" Tasyaadeshena vina trnamapi na chalati” .

-- "Not even a blade of grass moves without HIS will" say the scriptures.

HE alone is the source of everything and the mover of all things animate and inanimate. By HIS will alone are things created, exist and finally get destroyed. WE as the ego, as individuals do not exist. This assumption of ours, this 'Aham' (ego) as being separate is the cause of all pain and ignorance. It is the cause of our karma. In reality, HE alone exists in Akasha (empty space), formless, colorless, shapeless, extending to infinity. Full of knowledge, existence and bliss, HE exists as the one Supreme monarch without a second. As long as the 'Jiva' (embodied individual) fails to accept this, it is bound by limitation and pain. This belief in the illusion of being separate is the effect of 'Avidya' (ignorance). Upon realization, it merges into the only existence and reality called HIM say the great scriptures.

• Just as everything is an effect of HIS will, every person is HIS creation and every being right unto a blade of grass is working under his commands, the fingers which are typing these words that you read are also being operated by HIM. Why then worry about finding time? THAT creator of time does the needful.

ॐ तत् सत्
(That Supreme being is the absolute truth)
